I have a PC with a 160 gig HD. It almost died on me at a gig on Saturday!

I just got my new MACBOOK and I want to move the music from the PC hard drive to a new 500 gig external.

I will also be merging music from another external which is 200 gig.

How would I setup my crates on the external so my MACBOOK will see all my overviewed tracks?

I couldn't find any articles on merging from PC to MAC.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

All the best

First you have to make sure the Drive is formatted FAT32 and not NTFS. Macs cannot write to NTFS drives.

Once you have this solved - watch this video: Watchwww.youtube.com

Thanks Rafael,

I spent the night transferring files from one external to another. I am about to reformat and watch video.

Thanks for your support!

No prob. Remembering that reformatting a drive will erase everything on it. So make sure to back everything up.
