Hello There!
Been visiting this forum for a while. But first post : )
Wondering if it's possible for you guys to recommend an AMP plus Speakers for my small studio? It's basically a open space.
It's about 30+sqm and usually no more than 40ppl will be there at the same time. I'm using currently Pioneer SX2 and my budget is a bit tight. Aiming for no more than 800-900USD (AMP+Speakers). I guess passive speakers are not possible …
Thanks in advance!

AMP+Speakers = passive speakers. If your speakers weren't passive then you wouldn't need the amp.
Why not just go with a pair of powered speakers?

If you get some none powered small monitors that can take about 60 watts RMS, you can have look into a Tripath amplifier. It small and extremely powerful at 60 Watts RMS x 2 (approx) about 80 Watts (Peak) x 2. I use one on a pair of bookshelf speakers I had laying around for my rig with my turntables and mixer at home. It is an SMSL SA-98e.

Oh i just read your post and got a more clear understanding, you would want something more powerful for your situation. Could have a look at the QSC GX5 or 7 maybe if it fits the bill. Apologies for the previous post as I thought it was for a smaller setup.
