Generated Power for Mobile Sound

Rockalot 9:15 PM - 22 July, 2017
I'm looking to buy a power generator as I have relied on other previously for the many outdoor gigs that come my way.
Does anyone have any idea what size I should get?
Not sure how to calculate my power needs?

Thinking my biggest draw is my QSC 152's and 181's.
Then I would be my SX2, laptop, wireless mic, sometimes an 8 channel mixer and a variety of LED lighting.

Taipanic what all have you powered with it at the same time and with your volume cranked up?

If I'm running them harder or using more lighting I will rent a Honda EU7000 for the P.A. and run everything else off of the Champion

thanks for the reply @Taipanic lol like I'm replying 3yrs later, I suck!

I ended up purchasing a Honda 3000I and its been flawless, fits nicely on a Rock-n-roller for transport, key starts after months of sitting, one tank of fuel makes it through most gigs.

Now I would love to find a battery solution lol never satisfied!

the honda's seem to be the gold standard for smaller, portable generators

Exactly, need to be able to rely on it.
My buddies construction company uses them and the sit out in the elements and still start eveytime!
