After 5 hours of Playing Video, Music and Video Stop

This happened twice now... after playing video just over 5 hours, the music stops and I loose control of the decks (pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2). The fact that it happened twice with similar timing, it makes me think something is going into sleep mode. Any ideas???

Have you upgraded firmware for your products? I've had video freezes but music has never stopped.

Yep, firmware updated. Music and vid just stop. When I hit play on the decks... nothing. When I hit play in internal mode... nothing. Works fine after a reboot but sure kills the dance floor!!!

Interesting and you're on 1.9.6? Have you tried older versions? 1.9 I think has major video issues they won't admit it though.

Could you please run through our optimization guide to ensure your power preferences are set correctly on your Mac:

- support.serato.com

Could you also head to your Serato Video Output settings and let me know what you have the following set to:

- Output quality
- Video buffer size
- Recording quality

First thing that comes to mind is a heat issue...try monitoring the cpu temp...whens the last time the fans have been cleaned?..Hopefully it just need a clean.

- Video buffer size-- Close to 200 mb
- Recording quality-- 360p

Any improvements after the suggested optimizations?

If not, lower your Output quality to Medium and adjust your Video buffer size to midway between 1GB and 2GB.

Let me know if this works better for you.
