I'm DJing for college parties, and trying to find a good pair of speakers. My budget is $200. Any suggestions?

I feel like renting seems too much of a hassle, and prefer to have my own, thanks tho!

Well then you will need to up your budget by a lot. You can't even get one decent speaker for $200, much less 2.

You guys are probably right, but I think quadrupling it seems too much. I think the most I would spend is 400-500. Keep in mind that im only DJing college parties, and most of the time they are going to be in frat houses, which are not that big so one speaker is good enough and the other I would keep as a backup.

You are going to spend more when you blow out the two (2) speakers you buy for $400-$500 (total).
