DDJ SB2 Pitch control broken

I Just bought a ddj sb2 and the pitch control on the left deck does not work. When I load a track to the left deck it loads 8bpm faster than the original tempo even with the fader set to 0.

Then when I try to pitch up or down the track the fader moves freely but the tracks tempo only moves by about .5 bpm either way.

Any ideas?

So is it only the left deck or does this occur with right as well?

Hey bravo1987 - I would suggest that you open a help request over at support.serato.com and attach a video that clearly shows what is going on. We will be able to help you out!!

Dang I thought I'd be the only one with this same issue. Same exact description as well. Left deck, my tracks load up with like 5 or 6bpm less than it should, and randomly spikes up and down by itself in .5 or 1bpm increments every couple seconds... super bummed because the controller isnt very old and I take good care of it..

Oh and forgot to mention, even if I move the pitch control it doesnt do anything... so I'm basically forced to use sync on that deck :(
