I would like to see serato implement the option to allow momentary behavior to buttons and pads on the ddj-sx or any midi controller, that way we dont have to toggle the fx off and on everytime we want to use an effect. this way we can press and hold the button to activate the effect then when we release the fx turns off. I have midi mapped a kontrol x1 to do this and it opens up a world of possibilities.
I know this might be something pioneer has to allow. I wish they would set the ddj-sx free. I think their software allows this so i know serato can do it, at least for the pads
