Coming from trakor, I was very happy when the sync feature came to the samplers (especially to DVS setups)

There seems to be a problem that I have only come up with a less than ideal workaround for. The issue is that I want to use hold mode with sync on:
Hold Mode will play the sample for as long as you hold down on the play button / performance pad

When you turn on sync on the sampler, it changes the playmode to On / Off Mode i believe.
The button to change playmodes is grayed out when sync is activated, so you cannot change it......unless you midi map a button to this function ahead of time. The problem then is you essentially need a midi mapping for all 8 slots, which is not ideal.

Anyone know a way around this or a better work around?
