I saw this idea on a new Denon deck and thought what an amazingly simple idea it was!

When you activate SLIP, the wave form splits in to 2 across it's centre line. The top half carries on displaying where the track would be if you released SLIP, but the bottom half behaves as it does now. Following your input commands.

This way you can see what you are doing in SLIP, and also know exactly where you will return to in the track when you release. No more dropping back in into an unexpected breakdown etc.

This would also help to identify a track that has been loaded whilst SLIP is still activated. Or if you have reached a pre-activated saved loop. Currently you will loop when you reach this point, but if you exit the loop, and haven't re-triggered SLIP whilst in the loop, SLIP has carried on without you, and quite often, releasing the loop will put you in an unexpected part of the track. You currently have to spot this behaviour manually with the blinking SLIP icon. This would make it VERY easy to see.
