looking at buying a x:one db4, i want to know, once i buy a sdj licenece, can i route computer straight to the mixer and use without timecode/cdjs? will buy eventually but want to practise at home without b4 a show in a month, and then i would need to buy dvs support on top right? but with just sdj license i can use the software and route to multiple channels on the mixer to practise without? thanks in advance

Yes you can. From there if you choose to go with JUST CDJ's no DVS expansions is needed. If you do choose to go with TT's then the DVS expansion will bee needed.

You will be using INT with the DB4 and Serato DJ for your home practice. You also have the liberty to remap any buttons you are not currently using on the DB4 to perhaps make your life a bit easier with the functions.

you could add an Xone:X1 controller for cheap and you would be all set...no need for CDJ's
The DB4 is a beast of a mixer...excellent choice!
