Tip for RMX1000 owners (Midi-clock with SDJ)

Requirements:
Ableton 9 with LINK
RMX1000 Plugin and RemixBox Software (Download and install)

This assuming that your RMX1000 is already hooked up either via send/return or master out and that Serato DJ is already open/running with LINK enabled on the main switch and on a playing deck.

Steps:

1.Open Ableton
2.Open a NEW Live Set.
3.Use the AU version on a Midi track .
4.Zero the volume of the track to make sure only the Serato audio will be audible.
5.Actvate link in Ableton. Your RMX1000 bpm counter will be synchrinized with SDJ's bpm. Test by changing the your pitch in SDJ up and down.

PROS:
Your FX will sync to SDJ without having to TAP or change the bpm manually.
RMX bpm will be slaved exactly by decimals (.49 instead of .5).
Your RMX Loops via pad will follow the pitch changes in Serato as long as you do the changes very slowly.
*This is the biggest one for me*

CONS
if you wish to get out of the current bpm (i.e. Exit from 130bpm and dropping a 95bpm music) you have to repeat steps 2 to 5 to get synchronized again.
Disabling LINK and Activating it again won't follow the bpm of the new track.
*if you find a workaround for this, please let me know*

Note: I've included RemixBox to download and install because the Plugin didn't work for me not until I installed the Remixbox.

Edit:

if you wish to get out of the current bpm (i.e. Exit from 130bpm and dropping a 95bpm music) you have to follow the steps below:

1.Do NOT engage LINK on the new track (95bpm)
2.Disable Link in Ableton
3.Link the deck in SDJ
4.Link Ableton again.

to get synchronized again.
