Serato keep forgetting my ID3 tags

This has been happening for a while now. I import tracks into iTunes, open Serato DJ, analyse them & re-write the ID3 tags in Serato (track name, artist, genre, etc etc) but when I open Serato again some (not all) of the tracks have reverted to their original ID3 info & not been over written?

Any ideas why this is happening & how to stop it?

I HATE using iTunes so re-tagging the tracks in there isn't something I want to do. I only use it so the music is stored in 1 place.

Sounds like the permissions on your files is busted and not letting you save changes.

From what I can see the files are all set to 'read & write' for the permissions. In fact when I open the 'get info' section on them the ID3 tags I've written previously in Serato are listed in the info section under title, musical genre, etc etc.

I tried opening iTunes & playing every song again so the ID3 info updates in there & I thought this did the trick but when I opened Serato again today some (not all) have reverted back.
