Emulate the pitch knob on the DDJ-SZ in FX?

I'm enjoying the MCX8000 but am missing the hardware pitch knob from the SZ. It was great for a fast loop or roll, and increasing the pitch until the drop - worked very effectively.

I don't seem to be able to find an effect that does the same thing, and the pitch pad mode isn't as granular or extreme.

Am I missing something obvious?

serato has kind of similar effect under backpack call pitch looper.

Yeah, I've seen that - but it does loop stuff too. I really just want a pitch shifter.

I think it weird that all the FX packs seem to miss basic effects. Where's the gater? Where's pitch shift? Etc.

problem is pnt snaps the pitch into semitone steps unlike the gradual pitch shifting found on pioneer gear

Seems like just a really basic thing that’s missing as an effect. :/
