Will Mabook Air (Latest model) run SSL smoothly?

I am looking to get a new laptop but i don't have a big budget so i was looking to get the MacBook air (Latest model) 13" it has all the inputs i need, but i'm not sure if it'll be fast enough to run serato scratch live. It has 8 GB of ram but i have no idea if that'll be enough, i need some opinions please. Does anyone know if 8 GB will be enough?

Assuming you are using a Rane box considering you mention SSL? It will run Scratchlive and Serato DJ fine especially a 2013 model. I would try and maybe get a 2012 13" MacBook Pro instead of the air though. The recommended Serato requirements at least 4 gigs of ram so you have plenty for that. Good luck
