SDJ pause scratch sound

Hi guys 1st time writing long time reader, I'm not sure if this was ask before but I've try searching but got no luck finding it, I just update my SDJ to the new 1.9.1 and I notice that when I hit the pause/play on my pioneer ddjsx it stop playing but you don't get the scratch sound like before, is this part of the new update? did the update remove this feature?

Scratch sound? Not sure what you mean there. It could be the braking / start / stop timings though. Maybe they got changed? You'll find them in Setup>DJ Preferences

Did you make sure"vinyl" mode was enabled on the controller?

I just ask this because a friend of mind had the same exact problem saturday. He did a FaceTime call with me and all I had to say was "oh damn, just hit the shift and vinyl mode button". Easy. Done 👍

thanks guys for y'all respond, yea the problem was in the settings after the upgrade i guess it turn it down just went in turn it back up all good now. Thanks
