Can't configure audio settings?

I bought the Denon DJ MC6000MK2 to use with Serato DJ Intro, but the sound will only come from the headphone port and not any outputs. My speakers are connected to my stereo, which I then connected to the decks. I've tried different configurations but it doesn't seem to output any sound when using Serato DJ Intro. When checking the sound settings while DJ Intro was on, I wasn't allowed to test output playback, which only worked through the headphones once I had closed DJ Intro.

I then tried connecting the decks using Virtual DJ and it worked perfectly fine with no problems.

How do I get it to work with DJ Intro? Should the decks work when using my stereo speakers, and if so, how should the audio be configured?

I'm connecting my decks to the laptop via the USB port.

I'm just trying to figure out what connections I need in order to use my speakers which work via a headphone jack

In that case I guess you'd have to get an RCA-->3.5mm adapter and connect to the connector marked 'unbalanced' on the unit.
I'd probably switch the output to mono as well in that case.
