Using "Autoplay" with the "Prepare" panel

I'm running 1.81 and it looks like if I load a few songs into the "Prepare" panel, load the first song into a player and hit play, then hit "Autoplay", it will play (and delete) each song from the "Prepare " panel. In addition, if I continue to feed more songs to the "Prepare" panel, it will continue to Autoplay from only the Prepare panel, not matter what Crate I source the songs from. Correct?

This is what I want, and it seems to work this way. However, this is contrary to the way Autoplay is described - it's supposed to continue play from the last selected Crate.

Therefore, is the "Prepare" panel by itself considered a Crate?

Yes, if the mouse cursor focus is in the Prepare panel, then it will play from Prepare panel only.

I believe this is correct when I start Autoplay. Once Autoplay has started, I can have the mouse cursor focus in another Crate, and it still only plays from the Prepare panel. Right?
