Hey there,

What's your processor specs? This is more important than RAM or HD space.

Also I'd recommend that your analyse your library and make sure to remove all corrupt files as these can be the cause of many crashes.

Also, I'd recommend you get in touch with our support team so we can help you out and find out what's wrong - support.serato.com :)

I don't work with wifi or Bluetooth
I work on ddj sz over year +
Everything good and without problem

It's only the serato software that do the problem
What serato team support do all day? sit all day and eat donuts???

They need to understand that pepole work with this software
Preform front crowd and this crash and problem can't continue!

So stop blame the os x or the hardware.

Eliran Haliva,

Ultimately we need more information to help you though. If you have a crash you should get a crash report and send that to the Support team. This along with a detailed report of what you were doing and what file you were playing before the crash will help us figure out what cause the crash, and if its software related or something else. If it turns out its software related then we can fix it.

Regards,

MP

Eliran:

I won't be so blunt as Pdidy and so politically correct as the Serato staff. The truth is that if you have had one crash, it is your responsibility to get to the bottom of it. If you have a trouble ticket already submitted and have provided all requested information to the Serato team, good. In the meantime, you can review these boards and find many tips that may help such as:

-Analyze all files and replace (or re-rip) all files that are corrupt (regardless of whether those tracks play sometimes or played just fine on ScratchLive.
-Relaunch SDJ software at the beginning of any live gig after you are connected to hardware.
-Shut down any applications not needed during live gig including (Itunes, WiFi, bluetooth, and definitely any software that process audio or video (CPU hogs at best).

desmorider you can sit on dick, fag.

Btw i restore to 1.7.8 and analyze all my library (took 30 hours)

And it seems like it solved the issue.

But 1.8 need to be fixed.

Eliran Haliva we don't have many rules in the serato forum area (four total in fact) but you may want to refer to them and think about how you treat your peers; serato.com

1. Be nice to others.

There is no need for foul language or mud throwing, please treat others with respect here.

Also if you are having issues with 1.8 then just continue to work with support to resolve them dude, the majority of users are not having this problem so its highly likely they can help you out.

The same goes to him too Eliran but c'mon man - be the bigger man and just move on this isn't the youtube comments section.

If you two want to be nasty to each other you are welcome to do it elsewhere, although I suggest there are better things to do with both of your time.
Eliran Haliva 2:58 AM - 8 December, 2015
Yeah I guess you're right,
Sorry for the language.

Jason.S 3:04 AM - 8 December, 2015
Yes we can get that information to look at the crash and that is exactly why you should work with support to work out what the issue is - for all you know its possible that it could happen on any version hence we suggest you open a ticket as Matt said earlier - you can also run versions separately to test. It is up to you my friend we are here to help but you need to work with us to sort it out!

Eliran,
Sorry dude. I should not have come at you like that. I understand your frustration, however I was surprised at how harsh you were towards serato without even giving them a chance to help you. I could see you being that upset if you had a trouble ticket and they were ignoring you.

At the end of the day I truly hope you get it all worked out.

Happy Spinning
