Delete Tracks and Crates Permanently

DJ Marv the Maverick 3:42 PM - 5 November, 2015
Can you kindly include a way to delete Tracks/Crates from the library without resolving to "workarounds"

Command + Shift + Delete doesnt work

Regards

You have the same problem as me, the tracks disappear but when I restart SDJ they're back again but with a yellow question mark on them?
DJ Marv the Maverick 1:36 PM - 6 November, 2015
Mine just remain if add my files again. They get re-added.

I have to resort to deleting the files directly from finder.

They should fix this rather than adding new bells and whistles kinda features

Most annoying is when you delete one track i still stays in your smart crate.

I had this issue too.

Some of the tracks remained because of iTunes. I had to sort in SDJ by Question mark. Plain "?" ones were deleted Ok but ones with a circle and "?" had to be done thru iTunes.

I had both Apps open - view SDJ to see which version - search iTunes find and PLAY it to make sure File Not Found - and delete there.

For deleting crates - it may be an External Issue - I think Konix/Serato tutor had an explanation or work around.

Will try and find and post.

I dont use Itunes.
This applies not only to tracks but crates too.
Dj Blee 5:37 AM - 25 November, 2015
do you use an external HD?
DJ Marv the Maverick 12:43 AM - 26 November, 2015
Yup. But tried with internal files too

your database is corrupted guys, make a backup and try this
support.serato.com

that's what my friend Anik told me as well as Serato support. It didn't work for me, but it's supposed to work 90% of times
DJ Marv the Maverick 11:39 AM - 29 November, 2015
Seems like a radical solution. Dunno if to bite the bullet and do it.

I only skimmed that but does it delete your date added then?
DJ Marv the Maverick 11:20 AM - 2 December, 2015
Yeah I think it does. Technically resets your date added to the day you rebuild the database
Dj Blee 6:34 AM - 4 December, 2015
damn i use that a lot

Hey Marv, is it this issue possibly?

serato.com

This has been around a while now and it is quite annoying.

Database rebuild did not solve it for me, BTW.
