On my ddjsx I use the 2 extra pads on sp6 layer for
1beat and 1/2 loop.

Also because i only use 2 decks i use the headphone cues on the spare channels to turn key sync on and off.

So far thats the only use i have for my work flow. Would love to re map my sp1 so i can get down and busy in a club environment in a very similar way but unfortunately am patiently waiting.

Is there anyway the team at Serato can just compile a list of controllers that can't be midi mapped due to hardware limitations? That's a lot of controller quick start guides to read through just to see if a specific controller is able to be remapped.

If I understand correctly the NV may be the ONLY one. Other than that platters, input switches, shift buttons & performance pad mode buttons are not able to be mapped either at this stage.

Anyone know if one can remap the eq's and gains on a Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 with Serato DJ? I want to change the filter knob on the Numark to be bass and change the treble knob to be a gain knob..Basically skip the filter. Is it possible?

I have some of the same questions that have already been asked, but it appears Serato doesn't bother to answer all of the questions, just the ones they choose too? whats that about? I'm very disappointed that remapping of Serato Official Accessories is not supported... that has messed up my decision to purchase an add on like Neon or Akai... if I cant remap some of it, then why buy one! And I agree with someone elses comment about compiling a list for us (the "Customers" that support Serato with $) And one other peave: WHY do I have to search out information on SERATO VIDEO or any of the add ons, etc... why cant Serato make a manuel for everything software related? I am paying them monthly via subscription - yet I cannot figure out how to some simple things , like getting the output to show verses my computer screen showing up on the main output screens. Soooo difficult, I'm exhausted. Finding info on this website Is harder than finding it on YOUTUBE SERATO! I am assuming the reason you would have to search out info you do not know is because Serato would have no way of knowing what you do not know.

As far as the remapping of OSA's while I agree with you they did not do all that bad with mapping them and if we are being honest they have functions mapped that the typical user does not have access to via SDJ's built in mapping feature.

Denon MC6000 mk2 - I want to map fader 3 (1st in line of 4 faders) to deck 1 and fader 4 (far right) to deck 2 -
I can see no soft button assign in Serato just in the sampler section. How do i do this/ is it possible? Instructions please. Thanks

The MC6000MK2 can be used as a standalone mixer thus the music mixing is done externally thus this is a hardware limitation. You can not change the physical wiring of the mixer section (faders etc.) by simply remapping it.

Hi there, I'm not sure I've explained myself correctly, Denon have already advised that I should be able to map each 'internal' soft deck using midi mapping (I'm using serato dj) all channels have the ability to use PC as the input, just want to tell serato to use fader 3 for deck 1 in stead fader 1.

I can already map the sampler playback to e.g. Channel 4 using the serato channel assign soft button so I figure the principle is the same for the internal decks
