Hi guys extremely excited for this beta version. How do we obtain the download link for version 1.8 beta.

Had an issue with my laptop using this version... When I tracked it down I found That Serato was ok other than bugs already reported, but it was time for me to do maintenance. The CPU was working and over heated lol. Cleaned fan and heatsink applied homemade thermal compound and it's running cool and flawless. Can't wait for the official release.

Very excited about the latest Beta,PNT+Key detection+Key Adjust+Camelot colors is making workflow much more interesting :-)

To get Serato DJ analyzing the keys for you, you need to analyze your songs in Serato DJ an check the box key/analyzing key before you do it!

FYI, I downloaded The Beta Ver 1.80 and tested it.
Sounds pretty clean, but UNFORTUNATELY Still SKIPS so awkwardly.

My advise it to wait patiently, hopefully we'll get through the mess.

Serrate Live is perfectly fine with El Capitan OS.

Used SL4.

i got a Mid-2012 macbook pro i7 and it works just fine...im on el capitan and TTM-MKII though...so it depends on your gear...DDJ-SX is fine too

what is the min spec needed? i am just getting a blank screen on two old pcs with 2gb intel core 2 and 2 gb ddr2 ram.

Serato DJ 1.8. beta crashes, if you drag more than 1000 music-files to the analyst-button.
It´s a continuously crash.

my specs:
Macbook Pro 13" from 2011 with MacOSX Yosemite

using PC windows8 downloaded beta last night analized files gave me in key display after 30 mins spinnin the jog wheels (DDJ-SB 2 channel) the waveform froze on both diusplays but stll had full controll manually

after instaling ..i cnnot open..

Mine opened great the first time on windows 7 and then it wouldn't recognise my reloop controller and completely froze the laptop when I tried to shut I down. I still love it though.

OK i DJ a gig just fine with my ddjsz, Windows 7 and Serato 1.8 the only issues i found was.
1 loading from file
2 dragging from file to crates
3 dragging out from serato to desktop
(these 3 froze my laptop &ddjsz and had to shut down serato}
4 slight delay on the cue triggering and platter
other than these 4 issues the remapping blows my mind on the ddjsz you can remap every button and
i remapped the slicer feature in which i don't use to loop triggers and i was having a blast doping loops.
The key feature is awesome damn serato right on point too great job i can wait for this version to come out on late October.

You can try to re-install the sound card, controller drivers, this may be compatible with OS X EI! After I tried to work my serato1.8beta in OS X EI!I hope to help you!

ok so i have noticed something that is a bit annoying but would not effect most ppl, im using both s-9 and ddj-sp1 at the same time because im running Video so it good to use the knobs on the sp1 for effect but when you change the pads on the mixer from hotcue to say sample it also changes on the sp1, never use to do this when i use my 62 with the sp1, im sure its a midi assingment issue and not sure if it can be fixed but would be better if it was, we could then run hot cues on the mixer with beat roll on the sp1 etc.

This is how any device with actual performance pads work. The Rane 62 does not offer performance modes.
