Editing Systems...Mac & PC...what are you using?

Just curious what people are using. On a side note has anyone upgraded to an i7 box on the pc side or the new quads or octos on the mac side. How do they compare to your old system?

Mac Pro
8 core 2.8Ghz

Usually used my MBP 2.4Ghz C2d

Renders in 3 minutes compared to 15.
Too bad im using the pc side for vegas and haven't tackled FCP yet.

mac. same 2.8. a pc is good for draggin and droppin though. you can drag it across the table and drop it into the garbage. oh my god too easy. forgive me lord for starting a pc vs. mac argument.

I have a 2.5 GHz Quad Core 2 with 8 GB of RAM.

It's stupid to have this mac/pc argument. I have spent 8 years editing on PCs and have zero problems with them. Stop trying to be an ass and actually have a discussion about editing.
