Hey guys,
I really want this as well. I've bumped it as a feature request.

+1 been asking this for a while now, would make things so much easier to organise without having to use current time consuming work arounds

THANK YOU TEAM SERATO!!!
Not FINALLY!
These are not technically smart sub crates. You can only place smart crates into other crates.. Smart sub-crates should generate results by its parent crate.

Oh don't get me wrong this is certainly a huge improvement over the past version. Certainly happy to be able to clean up the left side.
I too have my fingers crossed for either smart crates which will generate based upon the parent crate, adding smart crates to other smart crates for example or even nested rules in the smart crates. This would allow for more refinement in organizing.
For example:
Genre - House
-Tempo - (120 - 125)
- Instrumental
- Original
- Acapella
-Tempo - (125 - 130)
- Instrumental
- Original
- Acapella
In any case certainly happy to see it heading in the right direction.

Err that didn't come out formatted as I wrote it but hopefully it still conveys what I was referring too.

I'm happy with this. Sub-crates that only populate from parent crate would be too confusing for my purpose. I just needed to be able to group them to collapse them when needed. But I think the simple answer is to be able to make a "crate name" rule. But I don't know.

+1 definitely would be keen to be able to set up a Smart crate and then another smart crate as a child of it that would inherit the rules.
You could have Key as the top smart crate then have Genre sub crates

Don't think it is, you can't add a smart crate to a smart crate. At least not anyway I've found

Oh, that's true. You CAN, however, create a regular crate and add a "nested smart crate" (as they're called) under that. It's pretty effective.
