I'm hoping for an SC3900 "MK2" with Numark NV type screens and Serato DJ native support... but this is promising nonetheless

I believe Denon was bought by InMusic (Numark, Akai) So investing in the noisemap system would ultimately lead to more than one product usage in the portfolio. I was kinda wondering what technological bits would cross platforms between the children companies when this happened. Maybe an MC controller with performance pads in the future?

MC4000 would be that controller...I'm still disappointed not to see an updated sc3900/2900

I was JUST looking at that thinking to myself 'Yeah, there's the cross breeding going on..'
I think it's good for all the brands involved to have such a talented group of people sitting at the same lunch table at InMusic now. All the products and offerings are maturing nicely.

just hope they don't lose Denon's Identity...that mc4000 jog wheels are pretty much identical to the new mixtrack pro 3...

I don't think they will. I find myself nose up at a log of jogs, honestly. The OG jogs were well built, but I couldn't get 3 fingers on them. Seems like there's always a trade-off.
I view jogs like I view broads. It's tough to make them sexy AND functional, but anything is better than nothing.
