Serato DVS and DDJ-SX2

Ive just gotten both the DDJ-SX and the DVS add-in. After some firmware updating, it seems like the unit is working well but one question because there really isn't a DVS manual, is it true that you can only use DVS on certain channels (1 and 2)? if so then why not make it only work on 3 and 4 so that in a 4 channel setup it all makes sense?

There are only two phono inputs on your sx2.

Hi 4play,

You can use DVS on all channels, however only channels 1 and 2 can be switched between line and phono level inputs. Channels 3 and 4 are line level only, so will work with line level turntables or CD players.

Hi 4play,

Just posting back as I've given you incorrect information sorry! Channels 3 and 4 are thru only, so you can't can't use DVS on these channels. DVS is only available for channels 1 and 2.

Ahhh..... I would have thought that they would have made 3 and 4 the DVS channels, it just makes more sense when your using 4 channels. Someone at pioneer should have caught that but I guess nothings perfect.
