Hello DJ ListenDat,
I use LAV Filters now and it works very good.
84 - 86FPS now and it was 20 - 40FPS.
Thanks for that!
BUT
At the end of some video clips only my picture of that deck wil freeze.
Sound works OK. When I will start another video clip the picture still freezing
and the sound of the new clip will work OK.
The only way to kill that frozen picture is close Serato and startup again.
Before I use LAV Filters there was not this problem.
I did everything like in the description.
What do I do wrong?
Thanks

Serato is very picky about videos. It needs to be encoded properly. Best way to avoid trouble is to download then from legit sources. I also had problem with lav filters when the videos weren't with 16:9 aspect ratio. going from a 16/9 video to a 4/3 one was giving problems.........
After almost 2 years struggling i decided to go MAC with mixemergency until something stable and optimized is released on PC.

Handbrake works - look for the updated profile being shared. You still have to do each video as their resolution dictates so that you get the right output and you don't have black bars where you don't want them.
Personally I feel nothing ever tops a good output from Compressor (OS X), Adobe's Media Encoder (WIN) or Sorenson Squeeze (either platform).

thanks popnwave,
is the updated handbrake profile the one VSL one on serato site or is it updated by a member?
Also do you do HD or SD?
Are there any "big" benefits of HD over SD?

3 years later and I see the same issues. Does anyone know the correct settings for LAV Filters or do you have to send half the library through handbrake. I have the LAV filters set to CUDIA I have aNVIDIA GTX970M Video Card on an Alienware 17R3. Any assistance would be appreciated.
