Hello to all a little help with specs to run Serato DJ smoothly… i had the usb light blinking the other night at a gig luckily nothing with the audio went wrong, but would like to know the specs to run it smoothly … my Macbook pro 17'' has the following specs
Processor 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
Software OS X 10.8.5 (12F45)
Macintosh HD 271.29 GB Free Out Of 319.21 GB….

Is pitch n time enabled? If so disable it. I have similar specs with 8 gbs of ram. I'm running at 2 with no issues with SL2 and Vci 380.

My question is as well if my macbook pro is running minimum spec or more... Dont know exactly the specs for serato dj

try turning up the master (somewhere around 1-2 o'clock) on the sx and turning down the gains. this has help a few with with your problem.
that led is not only for drop-outs but audio clipping as well.

There's two different indicators: limiter and USB warning
