Serato Dj 1.6.1 and cdj 850 questions for users

Quick questions for dj's that use new version of serato dj with cdj's 850.. do you have any problems with them in hid mode? lags, bugs etc ? I want to get a pro mixer djm850 or 900 with good enough cdj's for serato dj and I choose 850's since they are supported now in hid mode... but heard that they have only usb 1.1 and sometimes it was making a problem in scratch live... how is it now ??

No problems with SSL 2.5 only had to increase the USB buffer to 8ms.....


In sdj only thing is the center position circle lags a bit.

Both used with a 62 and mbp 2011

Thanks Raedonquan! I want to use it with serato dj.. Circle position lag is still ok for me.. What about display & track time info does it lag sometimes?

Display time and track title loops.... scroll button ..... platter is excellent.


Make sure you have a real USB powered hub

Guys, do you see any improvements with center position circle & cdjs 850's with new update 1.6.3 ?

Nope....still glitches but audio is fine.
