Hello,
I've bought a DDJ S1 and I saw Serato is not available with windows 8(.1). I don't have acces to a windows 7 powered ''machine''. Are there any (unofficial) solutions to fix this? Otherwise I can't be able to use the DJ controller.
Kind regards, Nando Raven

PS: sorry for the bad english, I'm from the Netherlands

Hi Shearer,

Although we don't support Windows 8.1 you can try installing Serato DJ1.5.2 and opening it.

Make sure the firmware and drivers are up to date on the Pioneer DDJ-S1 - pioneerdj.com

let me know how that goes.

I can open serato, but when I connect my controller it doesn't recognize it.

Do you have installed Pioneer driver??
If not, SDJ not recognize the controller.
I've tested ITCH 2.2.2 and DDJ-S1 in Win 8.1 and it worked fine!
