yeah! i can't find that song anywhere.

I dropped "colors" about 3 years ago at a club in SF. The dudes who knew the song almost shat in their parents they got so excited.
AMF 6:53 PM - 9 March, 2006
I know the record/cd got re-release not too long ago so it shouldn't be to hard to find it. Try hiphopsite.com.
DJBlisk 6:54 PM - 9 March, 2006
really? i'll try. I only want that song though.
AMF 7:08 PM - 9 March, 2006
I got a couple to add:

Steady B - "Bring the beat back"
Fat Boys - "Stick 'em"
anewsome 7:25 PM - 9 March, 2006
The MC Breed is pretty easy to find on Amazon.com. That's where I got mine. I have a different Paris song too that brought back some memories - "Guerilla Funk". It's on some Priority Records sampler I got years ago. Also has "The Bums - Take A Look Around".

Man I totally forgot about this record!!! I just purchased it about 6 months ago. I gotta get that into serato asap. But then again, with the idoit crowds I play for nobody would even give a s**t.
DJ Evil One 7:37 PM - 9 March, 2006

DJBlisk 8:51 PM - 9 March, 2006
Evil One,

I have them on... tape.
anewsome 8:56 PM - 9 March, 2006
The ONLY song I have by The Bums is Take A Look Around. A dope track for sure. Like I said, it's on a priority records sampler. I just put it in my early tracks set, so I will work it in on my next gig.
jizzer 9:09 PM - 9 March, 2006
y'all know what I hate? when D.J.'s only play the 12" single instead of the dope cuts on the album...like Jeru tha Damaja...his album was fire, but all the D.J.'s played was this one cut that was boring as hell (called "Come Clean")

anyhoo...y'all play Ice Cube's "Summer Vacation" for a change huh?

The Fat Boys were great guys. My mother has a picture of all the kids in my neighborhood with them in my driveway. Buffy is really missed around these parts. My most memorable studio sessions were with them. They called the pizza parlor one time we were there and ordered 10 pizzas...then turned to us and asked us if we wanted anything. They were also into some REAL shady stuff. But I'll leave that for another day. They were just as funny IRL as in their movies. ;-)
