Hey Serato Team,

Today i had a total Crash with my Serato DJ

My Computer specs:

MacBook Pro 15"
Core i7 2,7 GHz
8 GB RAM
1 TB Harddrive
OSX 10.8.5 lastest Updates since YESTERDAY (Could this ne the Problem?)

Wifi & bluetooth off!

iTunes was the only Otter openenddiskussion program

We have been investigating this issue since getting feedback about crashing with Serato DJ 1.5 and we believe we may have fixed it. We would encourage you to download and install the Serato DJ 1.5.1 BETA. We are looking for feedback on this public BETA so i'll link you to the feedback area here on the forum. You can also access the download for the application there.

Yes i already updated to 1.52, but right now while analyzing new files Serato DJ crashed again.

i repeated analyzing files, then there was no problem. Still to mention, when analyzing files for the first time, a CD spinned up in the CD-Drive.

be ware of corrupt/missing files/broken links to files...they can cause crashes...i have the same macbook pro with no issues with 1.5...

All corrupt Files are delted now, but today i had another crash while startimg SERATO DJ

Hey misky,

If you could please follow this link on how to send a crash log: serato.com
We can then decode it and hopefully find a solution. Unfortunately the crash you sent we can't do much with. If you could also use the 'Attach A File' icon that would be really helpful.
