Hey Enferno,

Go into:
Macintosh HD/System/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/ and delete the SeratoVirtualAudio.plugin.

That should fix it:)

I put my controller to the test ,and the situation is still unchanged.

Note that i only experience this with Serato Dj and not Serato Intro. Also note that i have a Rane Sl2 with Scratch Live on my Mac.

Please advise await your feedback.

Here follow a breakdown for what i have done so far:

-settings are basically default
-only connect usb cable to controller and Mac with earphones / still static interfere
-replace/substitute all cables connected.
-download another copy and install Serato Dj

Could it be that i bought a faulty unit out of the box.?

Please help.

Something indescribable happen yesterday.I took my unit to the my Vendor test it in there showroom, and with just a 5 sec.crackle and pop's in the beginning the unit plays flawless.

Back home i still experience full blown static.

I took my controller in to the shop and we found no problem while the assistant test it.

So i ask him if they have wifi around, did some scan and found no SSID's.I setup my phone as a Wifi Hotspot and back comes the static noise.

Because i have Wifi at home i am sure this is what cause the controller to snap, crackle & pop.

The Vendor needs to check and make a final decision about this.

Hey Carlo_Dj,

Thanks for getting in touch,

This is the first time I have heard of this kind of issue, it sounds strange...

So when you connect your phone to your computer via USB and setup a hotspot, this causes you static noise?

Thanks :)

I received a new unit, but still experience static but much less of it.

It came to my realisation that it must be something on my MacBook.

I uninstall Kaspersky and gone is the snack crackle and pop.

Thanks.
