New Mac new serrato ssl 4. installed off supplied CD then had to download latest version from Serrato blue light is on ssl 4 and green lights on as well for thru but software says hardware disconnected. Wasted 3 hours on this issue. Need to get this sorted
all the forum replies I have read seem to not help surely this cannot be a common issue?

What have you tried already? Have you tried rebuilding the SeratoScratchDriver.Kext file and then Updating the SL4 "Rane Device Driver" located in the 2.5 installer?
