Technically you can do almost everything done in that video (and a whole lot more) using The Bridge and Ableton.
The biggest difference is that you'll need a separate midi controller (and possibly an additional soundcard and mixer w/ sends and returns) to get it done.
I've had Traktor for a while and it's been mostly collecting dust until this week when NI finally allowed 3rd party controllers full access the remix decks. It's more intergrated and convenient than firing up Serato and Ableton, but I find myself missing some basic features like velocity sensitivity w/ one shots, parallel waveforms, being able to use Maschine, VSTs, etc.
Honestly in my opinion neither Traktor or Serato/Ableton have perfected the whole live production/remix thing. They all have plus and minuses. Traktor requires so much crazy custom mapping to cover all the bases unless you want lug around numerous midi controllers for each feature. Serato and The Bridge is much more flexible and powerful, but you need a fair amount of prep and rigging to make things work well.
