Serato DJ now supports Ableton Link in version 1.9.3.
Ableton Link provides a way of syncing Serato DJ to Ableton Live, syncing multiple Serato DJ setups as well as your Serato DJ setup with other supported Link apps - all wirelessly.
Link works by sending BPM data over a wireless connection, so that your own applications or fellow DJs' or musicians' applications stay in time.
To use Ableton link with Serato DJ, make sure you are connected to a wireless network, or even better, set up an ad hoc network that you and fellow DJs' or musicians' can connect to, so that your link data is secured to only users you want to connect.
If you are linking Serato DJ to another app on the same computer, this will link through the software without the need to connect to a wireless network.
Activate Link by using the Link button in the top left hand corner. You are now sending your BPM data, and anyone in your wireless network will be able to connect and change the BPM.

Ableton is best known for their production software, Ableton Live.
Live is software for creating musical ideas, turning them into finished songs, and even taking them onto the stage.
Ableton has also created Push for Ableton Live. Push is an instrument that puts everything you need to make music in one place—at your fingertips.
More recently, Ableton released Link. Link is a technology that keeps devices in time over a local network, so you can forget the hassle of setting up and focus on playing music. Link is now part of Live, and also comes as a built-in feature of other music applications including Serato DJ.
