Serato Video-SL is a software plug-in for Serato Scratch Live which adds the ability to playback and mix video files. It allows you to mix video with a variety of transitions and effects and control playback with turntables and CDJs in the same way that you would with audio tracks.

GETTING STARTED

• Make sure you are installing the latest version of Video-SL as we are constantly releasing updates for our software. The latest Version of Video-SL for both PC and Mac can be downloaded here

• To install Video-SL run the Video-SL installer file that you have downloaded (the installer should start up automatically if you are installing from the Video-SL disc) and simply follow the instructions.

• Once installed you will need to enable, then authorize the plugin. To do this open the Setup screen in Scratch Live and click on the 'Plugins' tab. Click Video-SL and select 'Enable Video-SL Plugin'. The option to authorize your Video-SL should now also appear. Enter your Serial Number. This will either be inside your Video-SL box, or in an email that we sent to you via our online store.

• Video Output - Connecting your computer : Video-SL is designed to output to a secondary display/projector/monitor. Depending on your make and model of computer, the procedure for setting up an external display will vary. Refer to your manufacturer's instructions for enabling a secondary display or check out our guide on How To Set up a Secondary Display.
