Biography

John "Keeno-da-Kid" Huang is no child when it comes to manning the decks. Having started as roadie for his DJ friend in high school, Keeno has since risen to become one of the most popular DJs on the WUSTL campus and in the St. Louis community. As both a dancer and a DJ, Keeno has the skills, technique and musical intuition to make the crowd go crazy. Spinnin' the best in electro/mash-up, hip-hop/house, funk/soul as well as club/top 40, DJ Keeno is your go-to-guy for one insane blow-out dance party. He has spun at many of STL's top nightlife spots including Club 15teen, Sugar & Solace, The OZ Nightclub, Atomic Cowboy, LURE, plus many more and has held residencies at Club Dante's and 609 Lounge. Aside from nightlife, Keeno has also opened for and shared stages with international acts such as Jay Sean, Shwayze, BEARBOT, Major Lazer and Wale. He also runs JLS Audio Services, a mobile DJ business which provides all-inclusive entertainment for campus events, house parties and formal dances.

Apart from DJing, John is a recent graduate from Washington University in St. Louis and now works as a Research Technician at the WUSM Neurology department in preparation for pursuing a career in medicine. He also enjoys cooking, traveling, bboying and hanging out with his bboy crew, Arch Enemies.
