Since 2007 Dj D-Soul has been sharing his feelings and energy with others through the medium of music. Like most, D-Soul grew up around the popular commercial music scene for the majority of his teenage years. Thankfully his parents and family were there to expose him to soul, rhythm & blues, funk, and disco at an early age. Towards the end of his high school years D-Soul's taste in music began to take shape, dispelling the commercial music in favor of genres such as rock, 80's/90's era hip hop, and electronic music. Today, D-Soul has an appreciation for all forms of music. While he may prefer some more than others, he prides himself in keeping an open mind towards music.

D-Soul got his start playing local parties and get-togethers with friends, and has kept going since then. He has just a few years under his belt, but he has been able to get around a few places in that short time frame. D-Soul has shared a stage spinning alongside national names such as Antiserum, Evol Intent, Dj Bui of the "Bui Brothers", and "International Mix Artist" Pri Yon Joni as well as many other local hometown heroes. You can catch D-Soul actively spinning in southwestern Ohio cities and beyond including: Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati.
