Biography
DJ Starski, a veteran of the Toronto night club scene, has played most of the clubs in and around the GTA. He got his start as a runner-up in the Kool DJ Red Alert/Atlantic Records mix tape contest in 1996.
Since then he has been ripping up clubs in and around Toronto, with his trademark smooth mixing and story telling dj style. He has played and held residencies in some of the biggest clubs in Toronto. Playing live to air parties with Flow 93.5 fm and Kiss 92.5 fm. He has also played parties for artists such as Maestro Fresh Wes, Kardinal Ofishall, and Snow to name a few.
In 2003, DJ Starski was awarded Soul Choice Record Pool DJ of the Year. Since 2003, he has remained in the mix in the club scene, where he plays out every week
Currently, DJ Starski has been producing Mash Ups, Remixes and Blends for the world famous Crooklyn Clan. His mixes can be heard in nightclubs and on mix shows around the world. You can check them out at Crooklynclan.net/djstarski.
