Biography

I'm Dj Scarface a.k.a. Dana from Detroit but I'm repping Ink-Town(Inkster)! I'm run Blackline Productions... so if you need a Dj get @ me!!!

From 1987 Michigan-born Dj Scarface was brought into all music and its culture through his love of the friday night mix shows on the radio. Scarface was impressed by the radio DJ��âs styles & ability to rock a club. Reading & watching all the media he could find on DJ-ing introduced broad range of music. In 1997 he got his first tables. Two old turntables that use to be part of a home stereo system.

Scarface first connection with the music he likes most ghetto tech/booty also came from the friday night mix show off the radio. Soon he found out that there were more of these kinds of tracks and then he started to record the tracks. Then he would go to DJ shops and play the tape back to find out the name of the track. Then he would buy the record or find some were to buy. His first ghetto tech record was Dj Godfather - Player Haters In The House.

He quickly got hooked on the genre and tried to find everything about it. His searching led him to a small Dj shop that sold the ghetto tech music on vinyl were he could still use his record players. He also bought all the new hip-hop as they came out at that record store. With all the records he bought, plus all the old-school records he receive from his mom & dad. He started DJ-ing family events, school dances, & local house parties.

Finally after years of DJ-ing parties. In 2007 Scarface got a chance to Dj a few high school party at a local club. He rock the club & every one talked about that party for weeks after it. But of course Scarface still loves spinning records to this very day & the rest is history.
