Bought my 57SL in Seattle on a Monday (Pac Pro Audio) after Hempfest, drove 12 hours home Tuesday, read the manual until I fell asleep, loaded Scratch Live on my new MBP after work on Wednesday and transfered my music library/ read the rest of the manual, pulled the mixer out of the box after work on Thursday and hooked my Technics to it and calibrated it, dicked around all night long w/ it getting familiar with the vinyl emulation and software, after work Friday focused on my attention on the set of music I would be playing, woke up Saturday and practiced my set a few times, did a set that night with a few other DJs at a local music venue... I'm just sayin'! |
