(Complete Resume) The Story of DJ Spincycle
At the age of 3, Ryan Cornelius started developing a passion for music. From banging pots and pans in the kitchen to scratching his parent�s vinyl records, it was apparent that Ryan was musically talented. As Ryan grew older, his enthusiasm for music heightened. One day, a friend presented Ryan with an opportunity to play in one Edmonton�s local nightclubs. After a successful night of spinning music and the thrill of entertaining people, this is when Ryan was certain to peruse the aspiration of becoming a disc jockey (DJ).

In the early 90s, while attending school, Ryan also worked part-time at the local YMCA. His duties included, maintaining the laundry room and various janitorial work. One day, while working a shift at the YMCA, Ryan was washing a load of towels, and applied the �spincycle� setting on the machine, and this was the inspiration behind the prodigy�s name �DJ Spincycle�.
DJ Spincycle has identified with the art of constructing beats while mixing music in his mind. He is also attentive to his audience and has the distinctive knack for music which keeps his fans thriving for more of his compilations and attending his performances. DJ Spincycle continues his commitment to his supporters by performing at various venues throughout Canada. With his hard work and dedication, DJ Spincycle has earned a sound name in the arts and entertainment industry, as one of Canada�s upcoming music artists.
Additionally, DJ Spincycle has expanded outside the Edmonton, Alberta realm, and has performed in major metropolises such as Toronto, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; Calgary, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Winnipeg, Manitoba, in addition to many more cities within Canada. Through his Canadian exposure DJ Spincycle has been honored with the nomination four times for the Canadian Stylus Awards Nominee, hosted in Toronto, Ontario.
Furthermore; DJ Spincycle has participated as the opening act for artists such as: . Coolio, Two Live Crew, Elephant Man and Sean Paul, in conjunction with Warner Urban Canada, DJ Spincycle produced a sampler for the �Notorious Big Greatest Hits� Album featured onwww.warnerurban.com. Finally, DJ Spincycle was privileged to accept the request from Warner Music Canada to perform at the 2008 Juno Awards after party, which included the artists: Michael Buble, Russell Peters, Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund, Jonas and the VJ�s from MTV Canada.
In 2004, DJ Spincycle founded the Spincycle DJ Academy (Now SpinNation.Biz). A school dedicated to educate enthusiasts how to mix music with techniques that included, party rocking, beat juggling and scratching. The success of the Academy has the recognition of one of Canada�s elite DJ schools with graduates moving rapidly into the arts and entertainment industry with their own music method style.
