Tips

  • Scratch Studio Edition supports all sample rates for loaded files together with all session sample rates.
  • To save on CPU usage hold down the Apple key (CTRL key in Windows) and click the record/s. This reduces processor load and is also useful for beat juggling - use the marker to line up the needle at the start of a beat.
  • When you save a preset, the sample you are currently playing is remembered along with the pitch and gain setting you are currently using. This is a quick way to load files you use all the time, and it also means that when you close your session, Scratch Studio Edition will remember what you were doing and restore it when you reopen.
  • Speed is matched when switching from external to internal mode. This makes it possible to beat match with two plug-ins and only one turntable, alternating between controlling each plug-in in external mode and letting it play in internal mode.

Note: Scratch Studio Edition is optimized for loading short samples that fit into the available RAM, and does not support needle dropping. Specific points in long samples may be rapidly cued by clicking within the small waveform overview.
