Serato Video 1.1 Manual

Installing for Windows

Insert the Software Installation USB drive. Browse to the USB drive and run “Serato Video Installer Win.exe”. Follow the on-screen instructions. Once the installation is complete, launch Scratch Live or ITCH and follow the instructions below for authorizing.

Installing for OS X

Insert the Software Installation USB drive. Browse to the USB drive and double click on “Serato Video Installer Mac.pkg”.

Once the installation is complete, launch Scratch Live or ITCH and follow the instructions below for authorizing.

Check For Updates

We are constantly releasing updates of our software. Before you continue please check serato.com/downloads for the latest version of Serato Video.

Authorizing

To authorize Serato Video go into the setup screen in Scratch Live or ITCH. Select Serato Video in the plugins tab, then click on the Authorize tab and tick the check box to enable Serato Video.

Enter the serial number found inside the Serato Video box or sent to you via our online store. Serato Video will now be available from the main screen of Scratch Live or ITCH.

Registering

It is strongly recommended that you register your Serato Video serial number in case you need to retrieve it at a later date. To do so, please go to serato.com/register.

De-Authorizing

If you are moving your copy of Serato Video to another machine, you must de-authorize your current installation. To de-authorize Serato Video go into the setup screen in Scratch Live or ITCH. Select the plugins tab, click on the Authorize tab and select de-authorize.

NOTE: De-authorizing your serial number will remove this from your computer. Make sure you have registered it before doing so.
