Denon DJ make a USB controller

Denon DJ have previewed a new controller for use with Serato Scratch Live.

The Denon DJ DN-HC1000S is a robust USB MIDI controller that is designed to provide DJs with tactile control of popular keyboard shortcuts in Scratch Live.

The DN-HC1000S allows quick navigation and selection of the Scratch Live music library with a handy file select knob, back / forward buttons and load / unload functions.

Once your track is loaded, the DN-HC1000S has rugged back-lit rubber keys you can use to trigger cue points, loop points and the new SP-6 sample player.

There's also Loop Cut knob to adjust loop length for the popular loop roll and auto loop functions. Each deck also has its own tap tempo button and the ability to turn key lock on and off.

It's the perfect companion to for all Scratch Live DJs, regardless of whether you use Vinyl, CD or MIDI as your primary transport control.

The Denon DJ DN-HC1000S is expected to ship in October 2009.
