Scratch Live 1.9.1 Release

Posted on 21 July, 2009

Serato Audio Research is proud to announce the release of Scratch Live 1.9.1. Primarily a maintenance release for 1.9, this version features some core improvements and also some additional SP-6 Sample Player functionality. Along with a new Hot Cues feature and added bit depth recording options for the SL 3, Scratch Live now gives you more flexibilty than ever.

The SP-6 Sample Player functionality has been greatly expanded to include many additional controls including a pitch slider, nudge buttons, play from & mode options, and level and gain control. Now, more than ever, the SP-6 is a powerful tool for dropping in different musical elements into the mix.

There is a new option in the playback tab on the setup screen called "Enable Hot Cues". When this setting is enabled, triggering a cue point when a cue point is not set now sets the cue point. SL 3 customers also have a new bit-depth recording option in the hardware tab, where they can choose between 24 bit or 16 bit.
