Serato & Mixcloud: Promoting Your Mix

Hosting and promoting your mixes is a hot topic right now in the DJ community. With labels cracking down on music licensing, it's best to keep things legal so your content stays online. Here's how Serato DJ integrates with Mixcloud to make this easy.

Serato DJ has a feature you might have missed called "Serato Playlists". This allows you to either live update a playlist on your Serato.com profile, or upload this after your set. What's great is that you can then link this with the audio on Mixcloud, making tracklisting a breeze.

We recommend Mixcloud for uploading your DJ mix as they have licensing agreements in place with copyright collection societies, meaning you won't have to pull your hair out when the man takes down your banging Usher mixtape off the internet.
