Mic routing doesn't work when the switch is set to the C/D channels. It works on the master, but I need better control over the mic channel than the knob on the back. Is there some reason the C / D setting doesn't work?

Hey Ncturnal,

Thanks for getting in touch,

Firstly, have you installed the Vestax standalone mixer kit?
--> www.vestax.com
--> Note: You need to click the words "Update kit (v2.0)" located at the top of the chart, this will start the download.

Once you have installed the update, move on to the below.

1. On the front of your VCI-400 you have two MODE switches.
-- Make sure both these switches are in the centre position.

2. On the back of your VCI-400 you have a switch "set mic routing to C/D"
-- Switch this over to C/D routing

3. Turn up the MIC gain on the back of your VCI400.
-- Mic 1 - sends the signal through to channel D.
-- Mic 2 - sends the signal through to channel C.

You should be able to see the channel LED light up when the MIC is working correctly.

Let me know how you get on :)

Thanks.
