Hello, just a new Mac Book Pro Retina 15' with SSD drive. Off the hook. I got Ableton Live 9 64bit version on it. But The Bridge is not yet compatible with this version of Live, any chance, any day to have a 64-bit Bridge version? Any on going dev?
Another problem is that Scratch Live display on the retina screen is really poor, very aliased. Any solution to display my SL correctly?
Best,
JM

The bridge will (for the sake of argument) NEVER be compatible with 64bit ableton. It is working just fine with ableton 9, Install the 32 bit version and run it when you want to use the bridge.
Turn down the resolution on you mac's screen?

until serato becomes a 64bit program (which nobody is asking for and there have been no rumors to think they would even be spending time working on it), 64 ableton will not be able to talk to serato.

Well thats understandable.... Never might be a bit much... But the crazy of people rebuilding there apps fro scratch to be 64 bit seems to be over. I just assumed that serato was in the same boat.
You guys are so secretive on your future plans.

okay, I switched to 32 bits live version and I can run the bridge. Cool thanx.
Concerning blurred text, Live has the same problem than Ableton. This is the by-pass solution give us. Run an app called resolution tab that can set the Mac Book Pro to 2880x1800, that make the font very sharply displayed but very small.( Even the cursor is very small and any other program is displayed very tiny.) Then Live offer a zoom factor to correct this. Set the zoom at 200% and it's ok. Of course any other app is fucked up tiny.
When resolution set at 2880x1800, SL is also displaying tiny fonts, and no zoom factor to correct this... If I set a resolution smaller than the native retina which is 1440x900, the fonts are even more blurred... The smaller the resolution, the more blurred the fonts...
So what could be the solution to display SL correct?

I am sorry to say but turning down resolution doesn't solve the problem.
Lo res doesn't sharpen the SL fonts only hi res does.
