My Serator Itch Software appears to be seeing the music (music icon is present) but will not display the bpms. I have tried to retag all ID3 files with no change. How can I get my itch to read and calculate all the bpms from my itunes library.

Hey Terreance,
Have you tried analyzing your files? This is the way that ITCH builds an overview and then reads the bpm's on your song files.
Did they ever have the bpm's and disappear? Is it just happening with the iTunes music files?
Let me know and i'll try and help where i can :)

I have analyzed all of my files. Serato is showing that it is a good music file but not displaying the bpm data or playing the music. All of my files are transferred from Itunes.

Sorry to clarify, are you saying that not only are the bpm's not showing up but they are NOT playing also?
Are you getting any error message when you add them to deck?
Do you ever get the bpm's to show up after analyzing the files?

First before I continue, this problem is not happening to my entire library only some songs. Most of the songs i have pulled from my icloud via itunes but some of them I transferred from my other computer.
So the song is not showing the bpms and they are not playing. There is no error that occurs when I try to add them to my decks. There are no waveforms that show up only a blank line. There are other songs that have analyzed properly and I can't seem to understand why some of them won't take in Serato.

Dave,
I figured it out! When you asked me to download the files so that you can look into them I did the same. Here is what I discovered that fixed my problem:
1) The itunes files were in an m4p format and Serato could not analyze them properly.
2) My itunes files were protected because I downloaded them years ago when itunes primarily used protected files which I could not in turn convert them to m4a (ACC files).
So, I burned some of the songs to a CD which made them regular CD Audio files then transferred them back into Itunes (converting to ACC or what we call m4a files). This unprotected them and made them readible by Serato.
I closed itunes then opened Serato and analyzed the new tracks. They were there ready to be played with bpms and music good to go.
Thanks for helping me realize this problem.
It will be painful transferring some of these songs to CD and then burning them back again to itunes for Serato but at least I know I can get my music to play.
Regards
Terry
